First time using this Cafe for our group of 13 Motorcyclists. What a lovely Cafe and friendly staff. We had a variety of different breakfast sandwiches and it makes a big change to have fresh and quality ingredients cooked which was super tasty. We will definitely be using Penelope’s again for a ride out stop. Thank you for accommodating all 13 of us today and hope to see you soon. Pete

Lovely little cafe next to the canal, friendly service, good prices. The milkshake and cake was delicious and reasonably priced. Parking is a very very short stroll from the cafe.

Its a lovely cafe with great views ,we had a hot chocolate,pleasant staff,clean areas,plenty of seats,parking,slide outside for the children,toilets at the rear,they have started to do Sunday roast dinner on a Sunday,the first time we came we had chips and a toasted sandwich was very nice its in a great location.

Lovely post-walk lunch and coffee – excellent value for money with generously packed roast beef and roast pork sandwiches. Plenty of seating, staff always pleasant.

Absolutely beautiful food! unbelievably friendly staff, nothing is ever too much trouble fantastic selection of food beer ice cream chocolate and much more. I’ve been here a few times now even when it’s busy staff are are always prompt with service. Overall my experience here has always been a massively positive one, I will definitely be returning! 10/10 A1*

We went here today after a walk, very reasonably priced. The ham & cheese toastie was lush!! Nice touches for the dog as well, Dog ice cream & the best puppachinos. Love how friendly the staff are and are welcoming. Will defo be back.

The cafe has a perfect location overlooking Goytre Wharf with plenty of seating inside and out. The welcome from the staff was brilliant and my vegetarian breakfast really hit the spot. Plenty of choice on the menu and good choice of drinks, the perfect stop after a walk on the canal.

Nice cafe by the canal, good selection of food and drink. I had a phoughman which was very tasty. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great spot when the sun is shining.

A lovely little cafe by the side of the canal. A nice selection of main meals and light bites. The staff were friendly and helpful. The prices were very reasonable. There is a room that allows dogs as well as plenty of outside seating. There are nice walks along the canal from here.

Visited the dog café today and honestly loved it 🐾 The setting was beautiful and so relaxed, with cosy dog beds everywhere so the pups could settle comfortably. They even had a dedicated dog menu which was such a lovely touch and made the experience feel really special for both owners and dogs. A perfect spot to unwind with your furry friend — we’ll definitely be back 💕
